Visual Inspector

Full-Time | 12-Month | £13.86 per hour + 22% Shift Allowance

We are looking for 7 Visual Inspectors to join a busy manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with excellent attention to detail who can remain focused while carrying out repetitive quality inspection tasks.

As a Visual Inspector, you will be responsible for manually inspecting pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet strict quality standards before progressing through the manufacturing process. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, consistency, and concentration are essential.

Shift Pattern

Monday to Friday

07:00 - 15:00
15:00 - 23:0037.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Conduct manual visual inspections of filled vials under controlled conditions.
Identify and remove defective products, including:
Visible particles or contamination
Scratches, cracks, chips, and other cosmetic defects
Fill volume issues
Container closure defects
Accurately separate accepted and rejected products.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality inspection processes.
Complete inspection records and documentation accurately.
Report any abnormalities or quality concerns to supervisors.
Maintain compliance with GMP, GDP, and data integrity requirements.
Participate in visual assessments, training, and ongoing qualification activities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the team.

Essential Requirements

GCSE-level Maths and English (or equivalent).
Good visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses).
Ability to maintain high levels of concentration for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and work instructions.
Reliable and self-motivated approach to work.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, medical device, or other regulated production environment.
Understanding of GMP, GDP, or quality standards.
