Video Editor & Content Creator
We are currently in search of a full-time Video Editor & Content Creator to join our growing Creative Team at Firebird Events. You will be required to support the end-to-end delivery of video editing projects, working closely with the project managers and clients to ensure a stunning end-product, delivered on time and within budget. This position will be based at our offices in Farnborough, Hampshire, and would offer flexible hours where required.

Duties to include:
* Prepare rough and final cuts.
* Optimising audio from recorded footage.
* Inputting video effects, graphics, and audio into edits.
* Utilising chroma keying tools to create immersive videos.
* Design of vectored Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop artwork for events.
* Collaboration with internal & external stakeholders throughout the pre-production, live production, and post-production process.
* Supporting the sales team with project time estimations for quoting purposes.
* Creating project timelines and liaising with Clients to ensure timely delivery.
* Manage to work both on-site as well as at the occasional off-site location.
* Discover and implement new techniques and methods to maximize the company’s efficiency.
* Working within a growing Creative department and collaborating with the wider team.
* Actively collaborating with our social media team to help promote and showcase Firebird Events.
Required Skills:
Essential:
* Excellent level of skill in Adobe Premiere Pro with at least two years of experience.
* Clear, methodical workflow & timeline creation to ensure best collaboration with the wider team.
* Proficient in the core Microsoft Office suite of products.
* Flexible with the working hours involved in the live events industry.
* Desirable:
* Highly proficient in Adobe After Effects and animation creation with at least one year of experience.
* Good overall knowledge of the Adobe Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop.
* Interest in creative design & film and willing to share your thoughts and ideas with colleagues and clients.
* Videography / photography experience highly beneficial.
Soft Skills:
* Attention to detail is vital.
* Ability to work as part of a team and work efficiently during time constraints.
* Fluent in spoken and written English.
* Well presented, positive and confident in engaging with others + clients.
* Ability to problem solve and to work to deadlines.
* High self-motivation.

Working Hours
* Primarily 9am – 5.30pm Monday – Friday from our Farnborough office. As the role progresses, flexible working is available.
