We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Non-Financial Risk Controls to join our Payments Enablement Platform team. This role is in Manchester.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

Support and facilitate the implementation and execution of NFR responsibilities within the Platform

 Identify, challenge and escalate asks/initiatives that go beyond the scope of 1RC Non-Financial Risk program responsibilities

Build deep expertise in NFR tooling and related data and analytics

Monitor and report the status of NFR program deliverables, proactively identifying and solutioning for challenges/blockers.

Working across the Platform, drive the remediation and reporting of key incidents, issues management, controls assessments, issues as relevant to the Platform

Identify and Analyze trends and issues, recommend remediation approach and integrate outcomes into reporting.

Identify inefficiencies, flag emerging risks, and propose practical solutions grounded in data and workflow understanding.

Collaborate closely with Platforms, Compliance, Risk, and Group teams—contributing expertise and supporting execution.

Take responsibility for the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of their work, understanding how it supports enterprise supervision and conduct outcomes

KRI/Telemetry interpretation

Collaboration across 1LoD/2LoD/3LoD

Proactive escalation & ownership

Adaptability to evolving risk landscapes

 

Success Indicators:

Accurate, complete, and timely RCSA execution

Reduction in overdue issues, high-quality remediation plans, and audit-ready documentation

Reliable KRI and telemetry analysis with actionable insights

Strong engagement in risk routines and governance forums

Positive feedback from Platform stakeholders and 2LoD partners

Visible adoption of discipline guardrails and uplift in NFR execution consistency
