Job Description

As their business expands, an exciting opportunity has arisen, and we invite you to apply. Situated in a vibrant urban area, Our client's veterinary practice prioritises the well-being and career progression of their staff above all else.

About the role:

This role offers flexible hours tailored to suit your schedule, with a rota structured around one weekend in every four, without any out-of-hours commitments. Additionally, time off during the week compensates for weekend shifts. They prioritise staff welfare by providing paid lunch breaks and maintaining a manageable diary schedule.

Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of veterinary nursing, including theatre/anaesthesia, patient recovery, inpatient care, diagnostics, and nurse-led consultations. There's also an opportunity to learn schedule 3 procedures, and they actively encourage nurses to realise their full potential. They seek candidates who are organised, eager learners, and willing to share newfound skills. Team collaboration is integral to their ethos, as they've collectively nurtured the growth of Our client's practice. Flexibility to work independently is advantageous.

About their practice:

You'll be joining a team comprising three full-time vets, one part-time vet, two RVNs, one SVN all supported by a practice manager, and four client care advisors. Their practice specialises in emergency and critical care, feline nursing, dermatology, and clinical animal behaviour, offering a range of nurse-led clinics and behaviour consultations, setting us apart in the region. We support further training in areas of your interest.

Compensation & Benefits:

* Competitive salary ranging from £24,000 - £29,000 dependent on experience.

* CPD allowance and support for advancing clinical interests.

* Contributory pension scheme

* Paid holiday of 5.6 weeks, rising to 6.6 weeks after 1 year of service

* Paid RCVS, VDS, and BVNA fees

* Free car parking

* Exclusive group discounts including 20% across the Pets at Home Group, High Street Retailers and Gym Memberships

* Extra paid holiday each year for your Birthday

* If you're eager to join their dedicated team and share their commitment to providing exceptional pet healthcare, we'd love to hear from you.

So, if you have an ambition to be part of the future, please apply
