Vending Service Engineer
Location: Essex
Salary: £33,000–£35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday – No Weekend Work
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Vending Service Engineer to join our field service team covering Essex and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working independently, solving technical problems, and delivering excellent customer service. You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, and installing a range of vending machines at customer sites, ensuring equipment is operating efficiently and minimising downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair a variety of vending machines.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and technical faults.
Carry out preventative maintenance to maximise machine performance.
Install and commission vending equipment where required.
Respond to service calls efficiently and professionally.
Complete service reports and maintain accurate records.
Manage van stock, tools, and spare parts effectively.
Build strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience servicing vending machines or similar electro-mechanical equipment.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Good electrical and mechanical knowledge.
A proactive and customer-focused attitude.
The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Excellent communication skills.
A full UK driving licence.
