Location: Birmingham & the Midlands
Salary: £30,000 - £31,500 + Door to Door Overtime + van and equipment
Talented People Solutions are delighted to be recruiting a Field Engineer on behalf of our growing client in the vending industry! This is a field-based role covering Birmingham and the Midlands, ideal for someone who thrives on the road and is passionate about delivering excellent technical support and customer service.
About the Role of a Vending Engineer:
You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and breakdown support of a range of vending machines installed across commercial sites. You’ll be the face of the company, ensuring customers receive a prompt and professional service.
Key Details:
* Shifts: Monday to Friday + 1 Saturday per month
* Salary: Competitive, with potential flexibility depending on experience
* Travel: Fully field-based with company van provided
Responsibilities of the Vending Engineer:
* Carry out reactive maintenance and repairs on vending machines, snack/cold drinks machines & coffee machines.
* Diagnose issues and perform comprehensive fault resolution on-site.
* Accurately report and document each job (arrival, departure, and customer confirmation)
* Manage van stock and tools, including ordering, receipting, and returning parts.
What We’re Looking for in a Vending Engineer:
* Previous experience repairing vending machines.
* A full UK driving licence
* A proactive, customer-focused attitude
* Strong fault-finding and technical skills
