Vehicle Valetor

Description:

Vehicle Valetor required in Andover.
* Starting salary up to £11.50 per hour.
* 40 hour week Monday to Friday plus 1 in 3 Saturdays 7:30am-1:00pm.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Valetor to join our client's busy vehicle rental business located in Andover.
Reporting to the General Manager, as a Valetor you will be primarily responsible for the upkeep of our client's fleet of rental vehicles alongside helping out with vehicle collection/delivery.
You key responsibilities as a Vehicle Valetor will include:
* Cleaning vehicles internally and externally to the required standard.
* Checking and adjusting fluid levels.
* Checking and repairing minor defects such as bulbs, windscreen wipers, etc.
* Checking and reporting major defects such as tyres, damage etc.
* Working closely and effectively with other departments and individuals.
* Delivery and collection of rental vehicles from customer’s premises
* Accurately checking the vehicles at handover/takeover for any damage or defects.
* Accurately completing the handover/takeover documentation.
* Demonstrating the use of the vehicles.
In order to be eligible you will ideally have previous vehicle valeting experience and be aged over 23 with a full UK car (manual) driving licence with minimal points. You will also be comfortable with driving HGV vehicles around our client's yard. Overall, you will be reliable, positive and professional, have great communication skills, be a team player, have the ability to adapt to the needs of the business, and have a keen and enthusiastic nature.
