Do you have Vehicle Test Technician (Navigation & Connected Car) experience, and are you seeking a new job in Cranfield? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Vehicle Test Technician (Navigation & Connected Car), and the role comes with a PAYE rate of £18.01 per hour. This contract is for 12 months and will require being on site in Cranfield full time.
As a Vehicle Test Technician (Navigation & Connected Car) you will provide the vehicle test relating to HMI (Human Machine Interface), Navigation, Infotainment systems, Telematics and mobile phone applications.
To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:
Work to a project schedule to complete test activities in a timely manner
Analyse test results and report on the quality of the software
Basic vehicle disassembly to access key components within the vehicle
Use of vehicle diagnostic tools, Deliverables/ KPIs/ SLAs
Preparation/maintenance of vehicles or components for test in line with local procedures and Engineering Manuals
To apply for this Vehicle Test Technician (Navigation & Connected Car) role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
A working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint for report writing and presentation preparation
Excellent organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
The ability to manage and prioritise your work
Experience in a similar role
C&G / BTEC L3 would be preferable, ideally in mechanical, Electrical or automotive engineering with a recognised apprenticeship or qualification within a relevant field
