Vehicle Test Rig Associate - 39362 - £25.96/hr umbrella rate
Do you have Vehicle Test Rig experience, and are you seeking a new job in Gaydon? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Test Rig Associate, and the role comes with a umbrella contract rate of £25.96 per hour (Inside IR35).
These rigs will vary from component to system level or full vehicle testing.
In your first week in this Test Rig Associate role, you can expect to:
Lead the design and delivery of bespoke test rigs and fixtures in support of the core cycle plan across all the Engineering Labs test areas
Undertake relevant duties
To apply for this Test Rig Associate role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
Ability to produce and interpret 2D complex detailed drawings to prepare parts for manufacture and assembly
Understanding of various manufacturing techniques and how to optimise designs accordingly
Knowledge of mechanical engineering design, ideally within a test environment focusing on component and system-level rig design
Degree level in Mechanical Engineering or similar
