We are currently seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join our team in Oxford The ideal candidate will be passionate about automotive mechanics, highly skilled in diagnosing and repairing vehicles, and dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Basic salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Bonuses available

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of customer light vehicles
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
Perform vehicle inspections and carry out necessary repairs to ensure safety and compliance with manufacturer standards.
Complete service and repair work efficiently and accurately, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
Keep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used, time spent, and diagnostic findings.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs needed, provide estimates, and address any concerns or questions.
Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, tools, and techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements:

Fully qualified vehicle technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent certification.
Proven experience working as a vehicle technician in a busy automotive workshop environment.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues efficiently.
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and rectify faults.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and customers.
Valid UK driving license.
A proactive attitude towards learning and continuous improvement
