Our client, a reputable main dealer in Luton, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their established team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to work within a long-standing, family-run automotive business renowned for its commitment to quality service, technical excellence, and staff development.
Key Benefits of the Vehicle Technician:
Basic salary circa £35,000, negotiable based on experience
OTE £40,000
Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
1 in 2 Saturday mornings, paid as overtime

Carrying out servicing and routine vehicle maintenance
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
Using the latest diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately
Performing repairs on brakes, suspension, steering, and other mechanical components
Conducting vehicle inspections and safety checks
Identifying additional work and reporting findings effectively
Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer standards and specifications
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and productivity
Adhering to health and safety procedures
Collaborating effectively within a professional workshop teamRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:
Qualified Vehicle Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Prior experience in a professional workshop environment
Strong mechanical and diagnostic capabilities
Good understanding of modern vehicle technology
Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
Professional attitude with a strong work ethic
Full UK Driving Licence
