Vehicle Technician
Longbenton, Newcastle upon Tyne NE12
Pay rate: £18 per hour

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of Gi Group's clients as a Vehicle Technician, for one of UK's largest used vehicles businesses to assess, recommend and complete mechanical repairs to enhance the value of wholesale re marketing vehicles.
Vehicle Technician responsibilities:
* To complete mechanical repairs in line with approved methods.
* To work productively ensuring repairs are completed within the deadline and work prioritised to achieve maximum efficiency.
* To highlight when repairs are not possible, or an alternative solution is required.
* To have a high attention to detail and to escalate where repairs could be completed more cost effectively.
* To maintain a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness within work spaces.
* To ensure standard operating procedures are rigorously followed and documentation completed accurately.
* To undertake other duties as requested by your manager.
Vehicle Technician required skills:
* Enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual
* Good attitude to work and learn new skills
* You will have at least 6 months previous experience as a Vehicle Technician
Vehicle Technician Pay:
* £18ph
Vehicle Technician Shift:
* Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm
*You must be able to follow the weekly rotation shift pattern, we are not currently recruiting for part time roles*
