Vehicle Technician Vacancy in Swindon, Wiltshire!
Our client, one of the UK's leading independent van supermarkets operating since 2002, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their busy head office and workshop in Swindon. This opportunity offers excellent long-term career prospects within a reputable company processing over 200 vehicles monthly.
Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
Competitive starting salary between £35,000 and £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
Overtime (including Saturdays) paid at an enhanced rate

Working hours: 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings 8:00am-1:30pm on a rota basis, paid as overtimeDuties of the Vehicle Technician:
Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on vehicles, primarily vans and light commercial vehicles
Work to the standards specified by the client, ensuring high-quality work
Accurately diagnose faults and report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance
Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times
Maintain a high standard of work in a busy environment
Assist with vehicle inspections and testing as required
Collaborate with team members and support the Aftersales ManagerRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:
Ideally qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
individuals with strong practical experience and no formal qualifications will also be considered
Prior experience working on vans and light commercial vehicles is advantageous but not essential
Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Demonstrate a committed, hardworking attitude and team spirit
Capable of producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
