We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable and thriving independent dealership in Southend-on-Sea for a Vehicle Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a stable and rewarding career within a well-established company. The Vehicle Technician will play a key role in ensuring high standards of vehicle repair and maintenance, contributing to the dealership’s reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction.

Diagnosing vehicle faults effectively and efficiently
Carrying out repair and maintenance work to a high standard
Conducting vehicle road tests to verify repairs and performance
Managing parts handling, storage, and documentation
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service
Assisting in the workshop with various vehicle repair requirements
Maintaining health and safety standards within the workshop environmentRequirements:
Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Proven, stable experience as a Vehicle Technician
Knowledge of a range of vehicle makes, ideally VAG, Mercedes, or JLR (advantageous but not essential)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
MOT accreditation is desirable but not essential
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
