Our client, a leading commercial vehicle specialist with an excellent reputation across the UK, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team in Penrith. This Vehicle Technician role offers a competitive salary, exceptional benefits, and the opportunity to work within a professional and supportive environment.

Basic salary up to £37,639, with OTE reaching £43,639
Working hours: Monday to Friday (42.5 hours), with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on vans, light commercial vehicles, and cars
Apply technical knowledge to diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical issues
Adhere strictly to manufacturer guidelines and health and safety regulations
Ensure vehicles are completed and returned to customers promptly
Deliver exceptional customer service and support
Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out
Keep tools and workspace organised and compliant with safety standardsRequirements for the Vehicle Technician position:
Successful completion of NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance or City and Guilds equivalent
Full UK driving licence
Own set of tools
MOT License is desirable but not essential
Ability to work to a high standard and follow safety protocols
Strong team player with a keen desire to develop skills and knowledge
