We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealer in Basingstoke, Hampshire, for a talented and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop.
The successful individual will play a key role in delivering high standards of vehicle servicing and repair within a prestigious brand environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Vehicle Technician looking to advance their career in a professional, manufacturer-backed setting.
Benefits of a Vehicle Technician:
Basic salary of £35,000 per annum, with additional bonus potential leading to approximately £40,000
Monday to Friday working hours, 8am – 5.30pm
One Saturday morning shift in three, 8am – 1pm
Transition to Monday to Friday working hours only, from August 2026
Manufacturer training programmes and ongoing career development

Conducting vehicle service checks, repairs, and maintenance
Performing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)
Ensuring the maintenance of workshop professionalism and high-quality service standards
Adhering to company procedures and protocols
Contributing to the overall efficiency of the workshop
Additional ad hoc duties as required by the workshop managementRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
NVQ Level 3 in Automotive Service and Repair or equivalent qualification
Full UK driving licence
MOT Tester Licence preferred and advantageous
Experience working within a main dealer environment post-qualification
Knowledge of EV / Hybrid systems is desirable
Franchise experience would be beneficial
Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to maintain a high standard of workshop presentation and safety
