Description:
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our client’s busy automotive service centre in Westbury. This is a fantastic Vehicle Technician opportunity for an experienced professional to work within a reputable company that values development and quality service. The Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in ensuring efficient vehicle maintenance and repair, adhering to the highest industry standards.
Benefits:
Competitive salary of up to £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
Performance-related bonus scheme averaging around £3,600 annually
Guaranteed 5-day, 42.5-hour working week, with shifts from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Alternate Saturdays, 8:30am to 4:00pm, with a day off in the week when working a Saturday

Overtime available, paid at standard ratesDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Carry out mechanical servicing, inspection, and repairs on a variety of cars and light vans
Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently and accurately
Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and health & safety standards
Maintain high standards of workmanship to enhance the customer journey
Liaise effectively with team members to ensure smooth workshop operations
Keep accurate records of all work undertaken
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environmentRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
UK driving licence with minimal points
Qualification to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Practical experience within an automotive workshop environment is highly desirable
Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
