We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading franchised main dealer in Worthing, West Sussex, for a highly skilled Vehicle Technician. Great reputation within the local area and automotive industryDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct vehicle services and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
Follow dealership and brand processes to ensure consistent quality
Liaise directly with customers when required to explain repairs and service work
Support and mentor less experienced colleagues within the workshop
Attend regular training sessions to maintain and update technical skills as a Vehicle Technician
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standardsRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Relevant Level 3 NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent qualification
Prior workshop experience within a franchise dealership is essential
Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude
Good organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
