Vehicle Technician (EV Brands)
* Main Dealer based in Bury St Edmunds
* Circa £35-45k Basic Salary + Bonus
* Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30AM - 5PM + Occasional Saturday Morning
Monday Matters Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established main dealership in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk to recruit a talented Vehicle Technician with a passion for the future of automotive technology. This is a unique opportunity to work predominantly on electric and hybrid vehicles (EVs) from leading global brands.
The Role:
As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs - primarily on electric and hybrid vehicles. You’ll be working with the latest tools, systems, and manufacturer training to ensure vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles, with a focus on EVs and hybrids
* Carry out advanced diagnostics using manufacturer-approved systems
* Conduct health checks and identify potential issues accurately
* Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in line with dealership and manufacturer standards
* Keep up to date with the latest EV technologies and safety procedures
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
About You:
* Qualified Vehicle Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* Experience working within a main dealer environment preferred
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Interest in electric/hybrid vehicles
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies
* Full UK driving licence
