Description:
We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Dover. Applicants must have at least two years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, hold a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, possess a valid MOT Tester Licence and have a Full UK Driving Licence.
Location: Dover
Salary: Up to £40,000 Basic + Benefits
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm (30-minute lunch), plus 1 in 3 Saturdays

Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Complete vehicle health checks and inspections
Carry out MOT testing in line with DVSA regulations
Conduct road tests before and after repairs where required
Maintain accurate workshop records and job cards
Work closely with Service Advisors and the Workshop Controller to maintain workshop efficiencyVehicle Technician Requirements
Minimum two years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician
Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent)
Valid MOT Tester Licence
Strong mechanical servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team
Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
