Vehicle Technician – Hitchin
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + Bonus (DOE & Qualifications)
Working Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 5:30pm and Friday 7:30am – 2:45pm
HP4 Recruitment are working with a busy and well-established workshop in Hitchin, looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic / Diagnostic Technician / Service Technician to join their team. This role offers excellent earning potential, a strong work-life balance, and no weekend work, you’ll be carrying out a wide range of mechanical and diagnostic duties in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Menu servicing, maintenance and repairs
* Dealer level diagnostics and fault finding
* Engine rebuilds and gearbox rebuilds
* Suspension overhaul and 4-wheel alignment
* Pre-purchase inspections and borescope checks
* IMS upgrades, air-con regas and tyre fitting
* Key coding and electrical repairs
* Bodywork, alloy and headlamp refurbishment
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
* Experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
* Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills
* Full UK driving licence
