We are currently recruiting for a Performance Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable high-performance automotive business located in Sevenoaks, Kent.

This role is ideal for an experienced technician with a passion for tuning, repairing, and building high-end vehicles, predominantly on VAG platforms.

The Performance Vehicle Technician will join a team dedicated to excellence in automotive performance and precision engineering.

Diagnosing and repairing engines and vehicle systems as a Performance Vehicle Technician
Conducting engine rebuilds, tuning, and modifications on high-performance and project cars
Utilising diagnostic tools including VCDS, Launch, and Autel for accurate fault finding
Performing routine servicing and general maintenance tasks
Assisting with dyno testing, engine builds, and mechanical performance improvements
Ensuring high standards of workmanship in line with customer expectations and industry best practicesRequirements:

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role within the motor trade
Extensive knowledge of German vehicle platforms, especially VAG, is essential
Relevant qualifications at Level 3 or equivalent
Experience with diagnostics, engine rebuilding, and performance tuning
Ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as part of a team
Own tools are required; access to specialised equipment on site is provided
