We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client’s busy automotive service centre in Weston-super-Mare. Benefits of the Vehicle Technician:

Starting salary between £33,000 and £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
Performance-related bonus scheme averaging £3,600 annually
Guaranteed 5-day, 42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
One in two Saturdays, 8:30am-4:00pm, with a day off in the week when working a Saturday

Carry out mechanical servicing and repairs on cars and light vans
Ensure all work complies with company procedures and Health & Safety regulations
Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism in line with customer service expectations
Assist with diagnostics and repairs, following manufacturer guidelines
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Complete required documentation accurately and promptly as the Vehicle Technician
Support the team in maintaining a safe and clean workshop environmentRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:

UK driving licence with minimal points
Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Practical experience in an automotive workshop environment preferred
Strong team player with excellent communication skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adhere to deadlines
