We are seeking a qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable, family-owned business based in Petersfield. Support the safe and efficient operation of workshop and yard activities
Conduct annual vehicle services and routine inspections
Attend and diagnose breakdowns, performing necessary repairs
Replace and repair vehicle components to maintain optimal performance
Maintain accurate and detailed service records
Order parts and liaise with suppliers to ensure smooth repair workflows
Assist with servicing and repairing plant equipment and attachments
Support health and safety procedures, promoting safety awareness
Work independently as the sole Vehicle Mechanic, managing workload efficiently
Provide technical support and advice to colleagues and clients as requiredRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 3 diploma in light vehicle repair or equivalent qualification
Proven recent experience as a vehicle mechanic
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills as the Vehicle Technician
Full UK driving licence
IT literacy with experience in digital data entry
Highly attentive to detail, with meticulous working practices 
Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
Physically fit and adaptable to varying weather conditions
Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented approach
