We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive dealership in Southampton, Hampshire, for the position of Service Technician. Opportunities for career advancement within a large groupDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Perform vehicle repairs and servicing to manufacturer standards
Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults efficiently
Carry out MOT repairs and assessments
Fit tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension parts, and other mechanical components
Assist with fast-fit services, including wheel alignments and tyre fitting
Complete accurate repair records and adhere to health and safety regulations
Advise customers on vehicle maintenance needs and future repairsRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
Willingness to learn new skills and stay updated with current technologies
Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
Good team player with excellent customer service skills
Full UK driving licence
