Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a major Construction & Maintenance company in the Hull area who operate as one of the leading building, repairs, and maintenance contractors. They are presently employing around 500 people and have a turnover of £50m and they have some ambitious plans in place to grow this again over the coming years.

Purpose of the Role

* To undertake responsive and preventative repairs and maintenance to vehicles, plant and equipment (VPE).

* To apply diagnostic skills and have a personal commitment and ability to identify and rectify problems wherever possible in order to minimise the downtime of VPE resulting in the highest levels of company and customer satisfaction.

* To work in a professional manner at all times and maintain thorough lines of communication, acting as a role model for others within the Company.

* To liaise with customers to determine exact requirements, leading to the successful completion of diagnostic, repairs, maintenance and installation work.

Work Pattern

* 40 Hours Per Week

* Week 1 (6.00am - 14.30pm)

* Week 2 (11.30am - 20.00pm)

These weeks will rotate weekly.

Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 - Motor Vehicles

* Time served approved apprenticeship.

* Current UK car driving licence

* IRTEC & MOT Testers Certificate is desirable
