We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable multi-franchise dealership group in Hay-on-Wye, Powys.

Salary up to £41,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 5:00pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:00am to 1:00pm, paid at time and a halfDuties:

Perform mechanical repairs and servicing, from routine maintenance to clutch and engine work on cars and 4x4s
Conduct used car preparations and pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) in accordance with company procedures
Accurately diagnose faults and document repairs
Maintain high health and safety standards within the workshop
Complete all paperwork thoroughly and accurately
Work as part of a small team under the supervision of the Service ManagerRequirements:

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 / IMI in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as a minimum
UK driving licence with minimal points
A detail-oriented, motivated team player capable of producing high-quality work in busy workshop conditions
Vehicle Technicians with an active MOT licence or experience with 4x4 vehicles are highly desirable but not essential
