Vehicle Technician – Borehamwood

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to join a busy fleet workshop in Borehamwood. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have strong servicing and repair experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. LCV experience would be advantageous but is not essential.

Salary: £39,729 basic
OTE: £45,729 including bonus and overtime
Hours: 42.5 hours per week – day shifts only
Overtime: Regularly available, paid at time and a half

Service, maintain and repair a varied fleet of cars and light commercial vehicles
Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults
Carry out vehicle inspections and MOT preparation work
Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults efficiently
Ensure vehicles remain safe, roadworthy and legally compliant
Complete job cards and workshop documentation accurately
Maintain high repair standards while minimising vehicle downtimeVehicle Technician Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent – essential
Previous Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic experience
Strong servicing, maintenance and mechanical repair skills
Diagnostic and electrical fault-finding experience
LCV or van experience advantageous but not essential
Full UK Driving Licence – essential
