Vehicle Technician – Ashbourne
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and friendly automotive workshop in Ashbourne.
Salary: £32,000–£36,000 basic + £3,600 bonus, giving potential earnings of £35,600–£39,600.

What You’ll Do
As a Vehicle Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Fitting and replacing tyres
Completing general mechanical and fast-fit work
Ensuring vehicles are safe and road-ready
Maintaining high standards of workmanship
Working efficiently as part of a busy workshop teamSkills & Qualifications
Proven experience in vehicle servicing and repairs
Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge
Level 3 automotive qualification, such as IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent
Full clean UK driving licence held for at least 6 months
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Good understanding of workshop health and safety standardsWe’re looking for a reliable and motivated Vehicle Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
Desirable Skills
Experience with wheel alignment and balancing
Knowledge of advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
Additional automotive repair qualifications or certifications
Previous experience working in a fast-paced automotive environmentWorking Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
