Vehicle Technician / Mechanic – Solihull
Looking for a Vehicle Technician role offering up to £36,000 basic, realistic earnings up to £45,000 and strong technical progression?
We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Service Technician in Solihull. Applicants must hold either a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or a Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years’ relevant workshop experience, plus a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.
Location: Solihull
Salary: Up to £36,000 Basic + Bonus + Overtime
OTE: Up to £45,000 depending on experience and site performance
Hours: Monday to Friday, plus Saturday rota and approved overtime
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
Use diagnostic equipment to identify repair requirements
Replace components, lubricants and consumables as required
Complete electronic vehicle health checks
Record servicing and repair work accurately
Work closely with Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers to maintain an efficient workflowVehicle Technician Requirements
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds or equivalent, or
Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years’ relevant workshop experience
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Service Technician or Diagnostic Technician
Strong servicing, maintenance and repair skills
Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Own tools suitable for day-to-day workshop duties
Full UK Driving Licence
