Vehicle Technician

Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable, family-run franchised dealership in Northumberland. This opportunity is ideal for experienced professionals or those progressing from apprenticeships who are eager to develop their career within a well-established dealership. The Vehicle Technician will be integral to delivering high standards of vehicle servicing and repair, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

Benefits: 

Basic salary of up to £38,500
On-target earnings around £43,900
No weekend work – Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
Optional overtime to increase earnings
£500 annual tools allowance

Repair and service vehicles according to manufacturer standards
Conduct diagnostic checks to identify faults
Inspect vehicles for wear, tear, and general faults
Complete work in accordance with DVSA regulations
Provide exceptional customer service and communication
Carry out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair as requiredRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (desirable)
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
Own set of tools
Full UK driving license
