We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, family-run independent garage based in Uckfield, East Sussex. Assistance with vehicle borrowing for breakdowns or customer recovery when necessaryDuties of the Vehicle Technician Role:

Diagnose and repair a broad range of vehicles, including light commercial vehicles and minibuses
Conduct MOT repairs and inspections for classes 4, 6, and 7
Maintain vehicle health through regular inspections and repairs
Perform general maintenance tasks adhering to manufacturer guidelines
Use diagnostic scanners and hand tools to identify faults and implement effective repairs
Support the team in ensuring smooth workshop operations and exceptional customer serviceRequirements of the Vehicle Technician Role:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in vehicle repairs
Broad knowledge of all vehicle types, including light commercial vehicles and minibuses
MOT licence is desirable but not essential
Ability to work efficiently and independently in a busy environment
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Familiarity with diagnostic tools such as Autodata and Snap-on equipment is preferred
