We are recruiting on behalf of our client, one of the UK's leading automotive retailers, for the position of Vehicle Technician at their franchise-approved dealership in Hereford, Herefordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable team and develop their career with a multi-award-winning automotive retailer.

Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles
Accurately identify vehicle faults and report findings to the Service Manager
Adhere to all quality standards, health & safety procedures, and franchise guidelines
Ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance meet company and manufacturer standards
Work efficiently within a busy, professional workshop environment
Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken and communicate effectively with team members
Support team targets and maintain high standards of workmanship
Participate in optional activities such as MOT testing if holding an active MOT Smart CardRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

Qualified to at least IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Minimum of one to two years’ practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
Full UK driving licence with minimal points
Own set of tools
Prior experience in franchise-approved dealerships is highly advantageous but not essential
Motivated, team-oriented, and able to deliver high-quality work
