We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Vehicle Technician at our client's well-established, family-run garage in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. This role is ideal for skilled and experienced Vehicle Technicians seeking a rewarding position within a reputable business with nearly 50 years of industry experience.
Our client is looking for a Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm. The ideal Vehicle Technician will bring a strong mechanical background, proficient in diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, especially timing belts and chains, turbos, head gaskets, DPFs, and other mechanical components.

Diagnosing and repairing vehicles with a focus on mechanical systems
Replacing timing belts and chains
Servicing turbochargers and head gaskets
Conducting DPF diagnostics and cleaning
Clutch repairs and replacements
Mechanical fault diagnosis and repair, including engines and transmissions
Electrical diagnostics and fault finding
Servicing brakes, suspension, and other mechanical components
Completing vehicle health checks (VHCs), job sheets, and customer documentation efficiently
Ensuring repairs are carried out within designated timescales to a high standardRequirements:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in vehicle mechanical repairs
Proven diagnostics and electrical knowledge
Experience with timing belts/chains, turbos, clutches, head gaskets, and DPFs
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently
Positive attitude and work ethic
Ability to handle routine maintenance and complex repairs
