We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician in Carlisle, Cumbria. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable dealership and develop their career within the motor trade.

Deliver high standards of technical advice, customer service, and vehicle maintenance
Conduct vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing adhering to manufacturer standards
Complete MOT testing for vehicles requiring certification
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Keep up-to-date with the latest vehicle technology, including Electric Vehicle maintenance
Work effectively within a team to ensure customer satisfaction and departmental efficiencyRequirements of the Vehicle Technician:
Full valid UK driving licence
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Automotive Technology
Previous experience working as an Automotive Technician in a dealership environment
MOT testing qualification is essential
Experience or willingness to undertake Electric Vehicle maintenance and repair (training provided)
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
