Description:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, the UK's largest car and light commercial vehicle rental provider, for a Vehicle Technician to join their team in Avonmouth, Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding role within a reputable company.

Salary up to £37,639 per annum, with potential on-target earnings of £43,639 per annum through various bonuses
Overtime paid at enhanced rate of time and a half, subject to availability

Use of diagnostic equipment to identify faults in electrical and mechanical systems of cars and light commercial vehicles
Conduct technical maintenance, repairs, and part replacements
Perform preventative maintenance and MOT preparation
Record and report work carried out, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards
Work collaboratively with a team of Vehicle Technicians under the supervision of the Workshop Manager
Adhere to health and safety procedures and maintain a high standard of workmanship in a busy workshop environmentRequirements:
Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Several years of practical experience in vehicle servicing and repair preferred
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Avonmouth
Strong team player with excellent organisational skills
Methodical approach to workload, maintaining high-quality standards
