Vehicle Technician
Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership based in Chippenham, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and professional workshop team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to develop their career within a well-established local dealer group.

Workplace pension schemeDuties of a Vehicle Technician:
Conduct fault diagnosis, vehicle servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
Accurately identify faults, report on vehicle condition, safety, and performance issues
Ensure all work complies with client and manufacturer quality procedures
Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy franchise environment
Keep detailed records of all diagnostics and repair processes
Support team targets and contribute to workshop efficiency
Assist with road testing vehicles as necessary
Maintain a clean and safe workshop environmentRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:
Qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 2 or higher in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
Experience working within a franchised dealership or similar environment
Valid UK driving licence with minimal driving points
Strong diagnostics and repair skills
Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
Team player with a proactive attitude and good communication skills
