We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Treforest, Rhondda Cynon Taf, for the position of Vehicle Technician. Starting salary around £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Bonus scheme providing additional earning potential of over £300 per month
22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 3 years’ service

40 hours per week on a flexible 4-day rota (Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday), with a long weekend every weekDuties:
Conduct fault diagnosis and perform engine-based repairs
Complete routine servicing and repairs as required
Accurately identify faults and communicate findings to the Workshop Controller
Ensure all work complies with quality standards, health & safety regulations, and manufacturer procedures
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services
Contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the Service Department
Support team members and uphold the dealership's high standards of customer satisfactionRequirements:
Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
At least 3+ years practical post-qualification experience preferred
Ideally qualified to Diagnostic or Master Technician level
Current UK driving licence
Active MOT licence advantageous
Strong team player with commitment to high-quality work
Capable of working efficiently in a busy environment and meeting targets
