Description:
We are currently seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our client’s well-established automotive business in Chingford, London. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced technicians looking to advance their careers within a reputable and supportive workshop environment focused on high standards and safety. The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicle makes and models, with a particular emphasis on hybrid and electric systems.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
• Conduct vehicle diagnostics following manufacturer procedures
• Perform repairs, services, and maintenance, including timing chains, cambelts, and engine rebuilds
• Diagnose and repair hybrid and electric vehicle systems
• Complete MOT tests (preferred but not essential)
• Ensure all work complies with high-quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out
Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
• At least 5-10 years of experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Level 4 hybrid/EV qualification
• Proven expertise with timing chains, cambelts, and engine rebuilds
• MOT experience is desirable but not essential
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop
