Our client is currently recruiting for a level 3 technician/vehicle service engineer. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients. The team is composed of highly skilled professionals who are passionate about technology and committed to excellence. We are currently seeking a Level 3 Technician/vehicle service engineer to join our growing team in Wickford.
What Does the Role Entail?
As a Level 3 Technician/vehicle service engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and expertise to our clients. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving advanced hardware and software issues, providing support for network configuration, security, and maintenance, installing, configuring, and upgrading computer systems and software, performing system administration tasks including user management and backup solutions, assisting with the deployment and management of servers and vitalisation technologies, ensuring compliance with IT policies and best practices, collaborating with other IT professionals and providing guidance to junior technicians, and maintaining accurate documentation of technical procedures and client interactions.
What Skills Will You Have?
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a Level 3 Technician/vehicle service engineer or similar role, in-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues, experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, familiarity with vitalisation technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), excellent understanding of network protocols and security principles, strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
