Vehicle Prepper / Paint Prepper

£38,490 OTE £45,000
(Inclusive of Overtime and Quarterly bonus)
Hours: 39 Hours a week
Permanent position - Early finish every Friday
Unlimited overtime paid at time and a half (around £26.25ph)
Start as early as 6am

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced prepper and from either body shop or Accident repair background, to join a well-established accident repair centre who are going through an exciting growth period.
Job Details: Vehicle Prepper / Paint prepper / Panel Filler
Experience of working in the automotive repair industry - Prepping vehicles to be painted.
Applying filler to panels that need to be repaired prior to painting.
The role will involve, sanding down panels using different grades of paper.
Removal of dirt from the surface and parts due for painting.
You will be qualified with a NVQ qualification or have a good level of relevant experience.
Ensure that assigned jobs are completed within estimated times.
You must have experience as a vehicle prepper to be successful in this roleJob Experience:
Experience of working in a vehicle or paint prepper
Experience in applying filler to damaged panels
A working knowledge of H&S responsibilities
Able to work in a fast paced, and targeted environment and to Kitemark BS10125 and manufacturer's standard
