Paint Technician/Prepper
Role Overview
On behalf of our client, a large automotive manufacturing company, we are looking for Vehicle Paint Technicians/Preppers based in Warwick. This role plays a vital part in the preparation and finishing process of large commercial vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards prior to painting.
This role will be offered on a 4-day working week (Mon-Thurs)
Key Responsibilities
Initial preparation of the commercial vehicles
Rectification of any imperfections in accordance with company standards and procedures
Internal recording of any incoming issues using internal systems
Working in a collaborative and team environment
Overall quality checks of the products and vehicles as a whole, ensuring each stage is completed to a high standard
Skills & Experience Required
Experience in an automotive or highly relevant environment within paint preparation
Strong attention to detail
Understanding of working in a similar environment
Good knowledge of paint preparation, masking, and local repair techniques, with the ability to carry out high-quality refinishing work to industry standards
