Vehicle Technician – Night Shift
Edinburgh
6pm – 6am | Night Shift
Ongoing Contract
£32 – £33 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional automotive operation in Edinburgh on an ongoing contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician looking for consistent night shift work with competitive hourly rates.
The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to a high standard while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
* Complete inspections and routine maintenance
* Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards
* Maintain accurate job records and documentation
Requirements
* NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics (essential)
* Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently on night shifts
* Full UK driving licence preferred
