Motorcycle Dismantler / Technician
Our client is seeking an experienced Motorcycle Dismantler / Technician to join their busy workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established automotive recycling and vehicle salvage business with a modern facility based near Thame, Oxfordshire.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for dismantling accident-damaged motorcycles, ensuring parts are removed safely and efficiently for resale. You will also work closely with the sales team by checking and preparing parts before they are supplied to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Dismantle accident-damaged motorcycles and remove reusable parts for resale.
Inspect and check motorcycle parts prior to customer collection or dispatch.
Work alongside the sales team to ensure parts are accurately identified and prepared.
Maintain a safe, organised and efficient workshop environment.
Meet productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced operation.
Candidate Requirements
Previous motorcycle mechanic or motorcycle dismantling experience is essential.
Own set of tools is required.
Forklift experience would be advantageous, although full training can be provided.
Reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
Able to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:00am - 5:00pm (4:45pm finish on Fridays)
Salary
£27,500 - £29,500 per annum, depending on experience.
Monthly bonus scheme.
Salary reviewed following successful completion of the probationary period.
