Location: Huddersfield
Salary: Basic Salary: £40,000 - £45,000+ DOE | OTE: £50,000

THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator, you'll play a key role in the repair process, ensuring accurate assessments are completed efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer service and repair quality throughout.

Key responsibilities include:
·Inspecting damaged vehicles and producing accurate repair estimates using recognised estimating systems.
·Assessing repair methods in line with manufacturer standards and insurance requirements.
·Liaising with customers, insurers, engineers and technicians throughout the repair process.
·Ordering and monitoring required parts to support efficient repairs.
·Managing repair progress and updating customers on vehicle status.
·Ensuring all estimates and documentation are completed accurately and compliantly.
·Working closely with the workshop team to maximise productivity and repair quality.
·Delivering an excellent customer experience from estimate through to vehicle handover.

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor who enjoys working in a fast-paced Bodyshop environment and takes pride in delivering accurate estimates and outstanding customer service.

You will ideally have:
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Vehicle Estimator or Bodyshop Estimator within a Bodyshop or accident repair centre.
·Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and insurance repair procedures.
·Experience using estimating software such as Audatex or similar systems.
·Excellent organisational and communication skills.
·The ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively under pressure.
·A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
·A full UK driving licence.
