About the Role

Our client, a leading organisation within the automotive accident repair and bodyshop industry, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join their busy and fast-paced workshop looking to progress into management.

This is a key role within the accident repair process, responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards.

You will work closely with bodyshop technicians, MET technicians, panel beaters, and paint technicians to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality repair outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced VDA / Estimator / Vehicle Estimator looking for strong earning potential and long-term career stability within a growing automotive repair environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Assess vehicle damage following accident and collision incidents

* Produce accurate repair estimates and job costing using Audatex / Glassmatix (or similar systems)

* Liaise with customers, insurers, and engineers regarding repair requirements

* Authorise repair work in line with manufacturer and insurance guidelines

* Work closely with MET, panel, and paint technicians to ensure efficient workflow

* Identify additional repair work and update estimates accordingly

* Ensure all estimates are compliant with industry standards and bodyshop processes

* Support the smooth progression of vehicles through the repair cycle

About You

* Experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA), Estimator, or Vehicle Estimator

* Strong knowledge of automotive accident repair processes

* Experience using Audatex, Glassmatix, or similar estimating systems (preferred)

* Good understanding of panel, MET, and paint repair disciplines

* Strong communication and customer service skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced bodyshop environment

* ATA VDA accreditation (desirable but not essential)
