THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will be responsible for inspecting damaged vehicles, producing accurate repair estimates, and ensuring repairs are cost-effective, compliant, and completed to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
·Assessing vehicle damage and identifying repair requirements
·Producing accurate estimates using recognised estimating systems
·Liaising with technicians to determine repair methods and timescales
·Managing repair costs and authorisations where required
·Monitoring repairs throughout the process to ensure accuracy and efficiency
·Communicating with customers and relevant stakeholders regarding repair progress
·Ensuring all estimates comply with manufacturer and industry standards
·Supporting the smooth workflow of the bodyshop operation

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have previous experience within an accident repair environment and possess strong technical and estimating knowledge.
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, Estimator or Bodyshop Estimator
·ATA accreditation (preferred) and proficiency in estimating systems such as Audatex
·Strong understanding of vehicle repair methods and accident damage assessment
·Experience using industry-recognised estimating systems
·Excellent organisational and communication skills
·Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively
·Strong attention to detail and accuracy
·Customer-focused approach with professional communication skills
·Full UK Driving Licence preferred
