£30,000 – £40,000 DOE
Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:30pm
The OpportunityWe’re working with an exciting and growing specialist automotive manufacturer who are looking for a Vehicle Assembly Technician to join their team in Bicester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hands-on engineering environment where you’ll be involved in the assembly of bespoke, low-volume vehicles, working across a range of mechanical, electrical and vehicle systems.
You’ll be joining a growing team where attention to detail, quality and craftsmanship are key.
The RoleYou’ll be responsible for:
Assembling vehicles and vehicle components
Working across mechanical, electrical and powertrain systems
Completing sub-assemblies and preparing components for production
Following technical drawings and build documentation
Carrying out inspections and quality checks
Identifying and resolving build issues
Supporting improvements to assembly processes
Working closely with the wider production and engineering teams
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop
Supporting the team to ensure builds are completed efficiently and to a high standardAbout YouWe’re looking for someone with a hands-on automotive or engineering background, ideally gained within a specialist, low-volume, motorsport or high-quality manufacturing environment.
You’ll ideally have:
Experience in vehicle assembly or a similar hands-on engineering role
Good knowledge of vehicle systems
Strong attention to detail
The ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
A practical, problem-solving approach
High standards when it comes to quality and workmanship
A genuine passion for automotive engineering
