Are you an experienced Vehicle Lead Engineer, and are you seeking a new contract in Gaydon? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Vehicle Architecture Lead Engineer for their team in Gaydon, and the role comes with a umbrella contract rate of £31.25 per hour for your expertise.
The Vehicle Architecture Lead Engineer will focus on the technical definition and application of an exciting breadth of new technologies and vehicle concepts for whole-vehicle engineering and integration. You will have exposure to the key areas that influence vehicle technology development, interacting across engineering functions and attribute teams.
Some of the primary duties you can expect to take on in this Vehicle Architecture Lead Engineer role will include:
Liaise and interface with multiple functions to identify, define and develop high-value customer innovations
Compile robust assumptions and data to develop the requirements and features chosen for implementation on/in the architecture
Radically simplify the company's technology toolkit and technical delivery activities
Define clear and compatible assumptions, championing transformative attribute strategies and future technologies and working on securing the successful resolution of technical conflicts
We are seeking a Vehicle Architecture Lead Engineer with Vehicle Attributes experience and Agile Project Management experience, including the ability to help deliver against complex project demands. You will also require:
Technical knowledge and extensive experience in key whole-vehicle systems and interactions
Proven ability to work with technical data and combine business skills with technical decision-making
Knowledge of the broader industry, including brands, megatrends, products and customer needs
