We are representing a reputable employer in Barking, East London, who is seeking a skilled and experienced vehicle technician to join their dedicated team. Competitive basic salary of up to £39,729, with an OTE of £45,729
Performance-related bonuses of up to £600 per quarter
Monday to Friday working hours from 8am to 5.30pm, with one Saturday morning in four (8am-12pm) at enhanced pay rates

Well-maintained workshop with a range of modern tools and equipmentDuties of the LCV technician:
Performing comprehensive vehicle repairs and servicing on light commercial vehicles and cars
Conducting clutch replacements, timing belt replacements, and scheduled maintenance tasks
Diagnosing faults efficiently and accurately using diagnostic tools
Road testing vehicles post-repair to ensure quality standards are met
Completing accurate service documentation and repair reports
Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety regulations
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environmentRequirements of the LCV technician:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repairs
Proven experience working on vans and cars within a busy workshop setting
Full valid UK manual driving licence, with minimal points (please specify points if applicable)
Good knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
Proactive approach with keen attention to detail and commitment to quality work
